Fred M, Butch K and I went inshore fishing Friday the 13th. There was a front coming through and it was a bit choppy during the morning. We fished the Anclote Key sandbar with plastics of different colors and caught a few small trout and lizard fish. We moved out to Marker 4 and hit one small trout and no other action. Several stops along the flats in front of the power plant yielded a few small trout so we moved into the river and the areas around the spoiler islands. Fred picked up a 24″ keeper red and Butch landed an 18″ red. We headed in around two and while it was a fast paced day of fishing we did boat a nice red and lot of other fish so I guess you have to say it was a good day all and all.
