11-4-2015 Inshore Report Frank B

Fred M, a friend of Fred’s, Gary and I did a little inshore fishing today to celebrate Gary’s birthday.  It was a smooth day on the water with average action.  We must have caught 50 fish all together ranging from lizard, lady fish, trout, black bass to gag grouper.  We ended up with a couple keeper trout but it was a great day of fishing enjoyed by all.  We were fishing from one of my Belle Harbour Marina rental pontoons out of Tarpon Springs which sure has a lot of room using mostly 3″ plastic paddle tails in white, silver and natural.  We fished in front of the power plant, Gulf Harbors south and Anclote Key sandbar out to #4.

Here is a great article I found on catching cobia.
