||Fred M, Butch K and I went fishing today out of Belle Harbor Marina in Tarpon Springs. We trolled most the way out the river experiencing several strikes but no fish landed. We headed north to several spots in the north and south channel and caught a lady fish and a lizard fish on plastics. We moved off to the sandbar and caught several trout each, Fred caught a nice 19″ trout and I got a nice size mackerel. Butch picked up a couple under size trout. We moved to the area in front of the power plant and sent the rest if the day there and drifting toward Howard Park. We consistently picked up small trout and Fred lost a bigger trout lifting it into the boat. We threw mostly jigs with plastic but did feed the fish some shrimp. It was a good day on the water and we all had a good day of catching fish.
