Another fine day of fishing with Mike Kaplan, Bob Sherley and Rick Uffalussy
We departed early on Tuesday at 5:30 a.m. sharp, from Nick’s park and proceeded west to Mike’s fishing hole. Again the sea God’s were very nice to us. it was flat all day long, but with that, there was no breeze at all, to keep us cool.
Rick again brought pin fish, so we didn’t have to stop and catch bait. they were mostly hitting on frozen sardines, but Bob & I caught the biggest ones on large live pin fish. The grouper ranged from 24-28″
Bob & Mike were catching beautiful size mangrove snappers, Bob caught the biggest at 18″ and I was catching nice lanes, we limited out on snapper too.
The water temp was 86 degrees and we were fishing in approximately 110′ of water.
Bob & I want to thank Mike again for a great day of CATCHING in the gulf of Mexico.
