Your Fishing Report: If this is a tournament report do not state the fish’s length in this box. State the length and species in the box below Terry Reelitz and Frank Bellizio joined Capt. Mike for a couple hours running the skiff back in the GH canals.

Not much water moving in the morning but we headed in non the less – Mangrove Snapper were plentiful and definitely had an attitude – they were slamming the live shrimp. We caught a bunch but let them all go to fight another day all though we caught plenty of keepers.

We did learn one lesson – we need some practice skippin’ under and around docks!!!!!

Headed in about 10:30 and shot the breeze for an hour or so…

The biggest accomplish of the morning was assisting Capt. Mike in selling the idea to Sherry that for “safety reasons” Mike needed a new ‘spot lock’ trolling motor for the skiff.

‘a good time was had by all’

Thanks Capt. Mike!

Your Fishing Report: If this is a tournament report do not state the fish’s length in this box. State the length and species in the box below Carol and I headed out this morning for a short day of inshore fishing. The water was calm and the wind about 7 mph. The clear water made the trout a little finicky but they finally started biting. We fished for about 3 hours and caught 10 to 15 trout each from 12 to 16.5 inches. As usual, Carol caught the biggest fish of the day.

Your Fishing Report: If this is a tournament report do not state the fish’s length in this box. State the length and species in the box below Frank Bellizio, Mike Spanhel and Terry Reelitz chartered with The Rajun Cajun on a Super Moon date this week. The plan was to hunt down the 3 participants it takes to catch an Inshore slam.
Headed out bright and early knowing the water was gonna be skinny for a couple hours, so we started the hunt looking for some Trout. It took some work, but we got some nice fatties that hit the cooler box.
Water started coming in, so we switched to live bait and started the hunt for Snook and Redfish. We saw a lot of fish – and I mean some BIG FISH, the feeding was off some and a tad slow. We speculated that maybe the Full Moon just gave the big girls plenty of time to eat last night.
Captain shared that he did do a midnight charter and they did very well with all the Snook running +30 inches. So, we just had to work a little harder and started to run and gun.
The Captain worked the islands hard; we did end up hooking up Reds and Snook and a bonus was several Jacks thrown into the mix. The day finished out with Mike Spanhel getting his first ‘Inshore Slam’, I came up needing a Redfish to seal the deal but walked away with nice trout and snooks. Frank completed his Slam with 3 Jacks that wore him out – they are a blast.
The Rajun Cajun fished hard all day and got us on fish under tough conditions – the guy’s a pro!!!!!
Ended the day with a beautiful ride back to the ramp, a good time was had by all!

Your Fishing Report: If this is a tournament report do not state the fish’s length in this box. State the length and species in the box below Headed to marina with my first mate, stopped to pick up a couple dozen shrimp and a few pinfish to go spend a couple hours huntin’ Trout, Mack and maybe a Blacktip to provide some ‘zing’

Arrived at Armed Angler and the wind was howling – decided we didn’t want to fight +15 MPH winds and picked up bait and headed to Fred Howard Causeway.

After taking a walk to stretch the legs, I settled into some fishing…. High Tide was at peak and was moving to outgoing tide, water was clear and moving at a fairly good clip through the bridge.

Armed with live shrimp and half-dozen inshore small pinfish (Armed Angler) spent a couple hours catching – Drum, Sheepies, Mangrove Snapper, Sea Bass, a puppy Redfish, Trout and what I’m assuming was a Snook that took me for a wild ride under the bridge-the Snook won.

Decided to never head there without a cooler again – I released a pretty good dinner this afternoon – the Sheepshead were all two fish taco size and the drum was a 4 taco critter….

But a ‘good time was had by all’ non the less and that is all that matters.
If this report includes a tournament entry please state the species and length of the fish caught in this box. Terry Reelitz 20″ inch Trout
