The Fish-On Fishing Club of New Port Richey launched its first Children’s Wish-To-Fish outing in 2000.  For the past 14 years we have taken hundreds of children fishing. We invite the children from several different organizations including Joshua House and or Hope Children’s Home, shelters for abused, abandoned, neglected and underprivileged children. We have also invited the local Boys & Girls Club children as well as veterans from Iraq and Afghanistan . We invite thirty children for each outing. Our club charters the Miss Virginia, a 58 foot charter fishing boat in Port Richey, FL. The Club provides breakfast, lunch, drinks, snacks and a Club tee shirt. We have 15 club volunteers that are assigned two children each to mentor. The thirty children enjoy the sport of fishing and learn conservation. They end the day with a lifetime memory as well as a meal of fresh caught fish when they return to their facility in the evening.

This outing costs the club approx. $2,700.00. It is our hope that you will help support a portion of the “Wish to Fish” program with a monetary donation. In appreciation of your contribution we will also place a business card ad (if you choose) in our  newsletter until we start our next years funding activities. Please make your check out to the Fish-On-Fishing Club and send your contribution to our club Treasurer:
