State the length and species in the box below Tom Saska, friend bob and I headed out for Mackerel Sunday morning. Fog reports from the St. Pete Coast guard over the VHF “no vessels allowed to go out due to fog in area7?. We left GH south dock at 9:45am seemed OK to us. Headed toward marker 4 about 8′ deep. put a shrimp on the hook about a minute later my rod was bent over. Started reeling and the fish came along no problem until he/she saw the boat. Ripped of some line and came back no problem. The second time it saw the boat I realized this big one was headed for Texas.  It took one more run  past the motor but not under the boat. Thank you….  Got half the fish in the net and lifted it over the side. We fished until dead low tide. We took home 6 Keepers.
If this report includes a tournament entry please state the species and length of the fish caught in this box. Spanish Mackerel 24 1/2″

Your Fishing Report: If this is a tournament report do not state the fish’s length in this box. State the length and species in the box below Chet, Vic L and I left the dock at Chet’s home at 8:15 in the fog with high expectations of putting a lot of Mackerel in the boat.  Went to the area of hard bottom surrounded by crab traps and started to cast.  First fish in the boat was a squirrel fish followed shortly by a trout. WE caught a couple mackerel at this spot but the tide died so we moved to marker 4 where we also caught a couple more mackerel.  It was a lot of casting practice with blowfish eating the plastic tails and bucktail hair off our jigs.  Pulled the plug at 2:00 and ran home to clean fish and the boat.Water was flat calm and 70*

Your Fishing Report: If this is a tournament report do not state the fish’s length in this box. State the length and species in the box below Butch and I decided to fish the coty river to sims park today .just to try something different today. It was an incoming tide so we didn’t have to work to hard as we do a lot of drifting anyways. The tide was really low this morning so we could see a lot of spots that would hold fish when the tide was high. The water was real flat so maybe the fish would hit a top water lure ,which I like to throw. Butch used a jig so off we went up the river. We got hits but no catchers until the water started to move a little. The ladyfish were out in big schools as we went up the river almost everywhere we threw. I lost a  new lure on a really big one with out a wire leader so I paid the price . We made it to sims park than turned around an trolled our way back to the ramp. We decided to finish the day fishing a couple of spots that usually hold fish. Well they did and than it was back home.AS a team we had a slam : a nice trout,a nice redfish and my first snook so it was a nice day with my friend  looking to fish again when I get back in January.

Your Fishing Report: If this is a tournament report do not state the fish’s length in this box. State the length and species in the box below Went for gags and hogs with Marc C. and Rick and Jean U, 20-30 miles NW and W of Gulf Harbors.  We caught a lot of fish including a beefy 8′ shark, but the keeper gags were few and far between.  The bite was off compared to recently, and from what we could see all the other boats were also doing more looking than catching. We ended up bringing home two gags, 5 hogs, and some big grunts.Highlight of the day was a large gag caught on, of all things, a pinfish on a flatline.
If this report includes a tournament entry please state the species and length of the fish caught in this box. Jim Thirkill – 31 7/8″ gag
