Your Fishing Report: If this is a tournament report do not state the fish’s length in this box. State the length and species in the box below Mike Kaplan was kind enough to invite Terry Freeman and a friend Sean and mysself for a trip to 100′ to try to find some red grouper.  As usual, we met at Nicks Park at 0 dark 30 and loaded Mikes boat in the extreme low tide.  So low, taht after we launched, Mike hit the mud bottom in the center of the channel of the Cotee. But, after trimming up, we got under weigh and ran the 2 hours in the cold morning to 100′.  I was expecting a wide open bite that did not happen.  Terry caught about 1/2 dozen short grouper all day.  I don’t know how many Mike and Sean caught but near the end of the day, Mile put a 23″ fish in the box.  I did not have 1 bite ll day till near the end my rod bowed over and I made short work of a 32′ Red Snapper.  The snapper was huge and estimated 25-30 pounds, but alas the season is closed and after venting, it was returned to the bottom, hopefully to fight again

It was an extremely slow day with few fish coming up.
