Your Fishing Report: If this is a tournament report do not state the fish’s length in this box. State the length and species in the box below If you weren’t on the water fishing today you missed one of the best weather days this year.  The sky was beautiful and there was only light breezes.  The seas were flat and the fish were biting.  Bill Herr and I headed out to find some hogfish and grunt.  We fished due west of New Port Richey in 25 to 30 feet of water all day.  We didn’t anchor up and just drifted looking to find new spots for the future.  We didn’t catch any hogfish but we did have fun with the grunts.  Even without fish today would have been just as good on the water.  Tight lines, the grunt and pompano are biting.
