Your Fishing Report: If this is a tournament report do not state the fish’s length in this box. State the length and species in the box below Bruce Archambault, Rich Robinson & Dale Rollston started the day by meeting at Bruce’s house which is off the North channel of Gulf Harbor and going to the Rusty Bucket to ‘bait up’ for the day. We purchased a block of chum, 100 live shrimp and a couple dozen pin fish. We started by fishing for trout near the Anclote power plant & were totally skunked w/o a single fish in the boat. After an hour we’d had enough and headed offshore for grunts and any other fish we might catch 25 miles offshore. Our first stop was a complete dud and after an hour we moved to spot #2 which was red hot from the second our first bait hit the bottom. Rich was suffering from debilitating sea sickness and was unable to fish but Dale & Bruce caught one grunt after another almost as fast as they could get their bait on the bottom. They kept their 12 largest grunts which Bruce donated to a neighbor.  Dale caught and released a decent sea bass and a mangrove snapper. Seas were perfect and there was no afternoon thunderstorms.
