State the length and species in the box below | Wel we didn’t get off to a bright and early start as I had other chores to do on the boat, but loaded with a bunch of shrimp, Dave Diehl and I made our way 28 miles offshore to the “honeyhole” There was virtually no current and little wind and not a lot showing on the fishfinder, but we loaded our tackle and dropped down. Both rods bent over immediately and we had a double of legal hogfish. We continued to fish and crank, endlessly, and were getting hit on almost every drop. I never even anchored or dropped a marker buoy. Lots of the expected grunts, a porgy or three, a mangrove and a couple more hogfish, with 1 being legal and stuffed into the box. Fun day of fishing and cranking. |
