State the length and species in the box below Went off-shore with my son and some his friends out of Clearwater. We were 60 miles out and fished 120 feet. We did very well and limited out on red snapper, caught a few keeper red grouper, but lots of short grouper. Very few Gag grouper. We used cut bait for most of the Red Snapper and pinfish for the grouper.
Conditions were great and it was a great day of fishing.

State the length and species in the box below Mike Travica and I headed out to look for some new summer fishing spots.  The seas were really calm all day.  We started fishing at the south end of Anclote Key on the east side with minimal luck.  We picked up trout around 14 to 15 inches along the way.  As we got to the south end of Rucker 3 we turned west to fish the outside of the island for snook.  Good luck with that, there were boats very where look for tarpon.  I did see on right at the south tip of Rucker.  We decided to avoid the circus and head back to the area in front of the power plant.  Once there we started picking up trout again with Mike catching the largest of the day 16 1/2″.  We were throw artificial soft plastic most of the day although I did try some frozen shrimp also.

Myself Carl Mogavero, Bob Priore. Fished with Greenies, cut Mullet.  Fishing was steady in the am, afternoon the tide would not recede and the bite turned off

State the length and species in the box below The weather was right for another ride so Freddy , Bonnie, Bob and his son Connor and myself took the 50 mile ride seas were flat zero wind and  no waves perfect to run . We got out there and the bite was immediately on we had to work to get our limit there were a lot of undersize grouper but all lived after venting and releasing we got our 10 red grouper 1 mangrove snapper and 3 ars also numerous lane and vermilion snappers the bait of the day was squid and threadfin ,a fun day for all thanks Freddy and Bonnie

State the length and species in the box below Butch Kaelin, Craig Myers and me had a very productive morning of fishing. Dave T. took us to one of his hot spots about 20 miles out in the gulf. We caught 7 grouper, one was a keeper. We caught 12 hog fish and 2 of them went into the cooler. We also caught dozens of grunts. All fish were caught on shrimp or herring. Great day to be out on the water!

State the length and species in the box below This was a a Friday and Saturday trip 50 miles offshore looking for ARS and red grouper day1 we limited out on red grouper and a few mangrove snapper. Then we moved in to 60 ft of water for hog fish we caught 6 with one keeper the biggest red grouper was caught by our neighbors daughter it was 29 inches the mangroves were around 18 inch the bait of choice was threadfin and sand perch day two was about the same except a few more snapper were caught Larry caught his first hog fish and his daughter Kennedy caught her first red grouper and her first hog fish. Baby shark, needle nose and trout. Great day on the water.

State the length and species in the box below Mike Kaplan took myself and Team U out to get some ARS.  Although we hit some rain on the way out, it was a nice day to be offshore.  Winds were light, water temp just over 80.

Our first stop was where we caught some monster ARS two weeks ago.  Alas, they seemed to have received the memo that ARS season was open and they were gone. We did have some good action and caught eight 18-22″ ARS along with a variety of other fish.

Next stops were targeting red grouper, and we again had a lot of action with a total of six keepers, some lane snapper, and others.

State the length and species in the box below As  a kid my cousin and I boated and fished together all the time.  Our families had boats and we loved being on the water.  She had told me she would love to go fishing with me so yesterday was the day.  It had been 12 years since the last time we had fished together.  The weather was perfect to make a run offshore to about 30′ of water.  We were in search of hogfish but didn’t find any but we did find plenty of grunts, porky’s and seabass of decent size.  I was really surprised when I saw a school of fish on the fish finder and we dropped I caught a  17″ Spotted Trout.  It was a great day on the water with family.
