Mike for a couple hours running the skiff back in the GH canals. Not much water moving in the morning but we headed in non the less – Mangrove Snapper were plentiful and definitely had an attitude – they were slamming the live shrimp. We caught a bunch but let them all go to fight another day all though we caught plenty of keepers. We did learn one lesson – we need some practice skippin’ under and around docks!!!!! Headed in about 10:30 and shot the breeze for an hour or so… The biggest accomplish of the morning was assisting Capt. Mike in selling the idea to Sherry that for “safety reasons” Mike needed a new ‘spot lock’ trolling motor for the skiff. ‘a good time was had by all’ Thanks Capt. Mike! |
