Your Fishing Report: If this is a tournament report do not state the fish’s length in this box. State the length and species in the box below It was hot and sweltery but all the more reason to be on the water fishing.  John Grieder and I departed Belle Harbour Marina at about 11 am to catch the incoming tide for some inshore fishing.  We tried a few shallow water spots on the way to Marker 7 infront of the power plant at Tarpon Springs with no luck.  We set up and did 4 long drifts with the wind out of the north and an incoming tide in about 6ft to 10ft of water.  We caught a good mix of spotted seatrout and ladyfish.  We didn’t keep count but it is safe to say we each caught 10 trout and 5 lady fish.  We moved up and down and in and out of the water on the east side of Anclote Key with not much luck so it was hot and we wound it up and headed in at around 3 pm.  It was a really pretty good day of fishing.  We used top water, live shrimp and gulp plastic baits.
